I'm 36th I recently had a left pleural effusion. N, illness, etc. It has 1 1 / 2 liter. He turned to "inconclusive" Here are the results of a scan. Can anyone tell me what they think in the English terminology?
Assessment --
Evaluation of lung fields show a star of 1.6 cm below the left peripheral segment of the upper lobe nodular lesion with marked effusion. Small left pleural effusion observed.
Trunk vessels aoritic arch, proximal and peripheral pulmonary arteries were within normal limits and size. There are less than 1 cm lymph lumph. without hilar lymphadenopathy. The ventricles are normal size.
the bony thorax is clearly intact.
No pericardial effusion observed
1.6 cm peripheral left lower lobe superior segment of the nodular lesion with marked effusion. Lumph normal-sized mediastinal lymph nodes. Suspicious of malignancy. Resolution of pulmonary infiltrates, although unlikely, can not be excluded. PET can be seen, a biopsy or follow-up within 2 weeks.

There are no signs? What have you got to the DR?
Apart from the pleural effusion and mass everything seems pretty normal. The enlarged lymph nodes is a tariff increase, 4/10th, but not great.
They have a mass of about one centimeter to the suspicion of cancer. Labeling effusion is a descriptive term to suggest the opacity or the appearance of the mass. Stellate means that it peaks or points on the surface of the dough. Both terms are used to describe malignant tumors.
Pleural effusion not just happen out of nothing. This article has a good summary of the possible causes. Those who are worried is to make lung cancer.

You can see several seconds to take CT, if the mass is increasing or not - or you can now get a biopsy - or take a PET scan, a biopsy if the PET scan shows malignancy. These are your options.
If the piece is malicious - 3 to 5 cm or smaller mass can be surgically removed and cancer can SOMETBe cured EMI.
Good luck
"Suspicious burden or tumor = cancer .. thats what worried ... they know for a biopsy.
Get as early as possible should be well carried out by a biopsy of thoracic surgeon.
